here's a seat for a RoadKing. The customer wanted a wood cross with flowers at the bottom and the word Faith.

He also wanted black.

i would have loved to kept it natural.

i dyed it with vinegaroon, i did not put a finish on it yet.

the black photo it is on the seat pan

Hey Tom

Looks good. Hard to tell the size but if it is for a Road King, It must be pretty big.

keep up the good work.

Nice work Sawyer.I have to agree I would have liked it natural as well. Also the pattern causes an illusion, depending on how you look at it.One way it looks like a 3D standing cross but if you focus your eyes differently it looks like an inset cross.Kind of like if someone dug a hole in the ground in the shape of a cross.

Nice job though :You_Rock_Emoticon:

P.S - how did you get the wooden look to it? Is it just modeling tools?

Very nice! Although it looks good natural I don't think it loses much being black. It still has that 3-D quality about it. Of course, it will look really cool after it's been worn in and subjected to some abuse, imho.
