Hi all, I'm new to this site but not to leather work. Wanted to kick-off my membership with a quick review. I live in the North East of England and I'm fortunate enough to have the amazing LePrevo shop on my doorstep. I haven't been in a couple of years (real world pressures( but found myself back in the shop this week. First time I've been in since the new owners took over. It was a great visit, they took the time to chat, show me options to what I was looking for, including various weights of leather etc. A really positive visit and they couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommend a visit to their shop if you're able. S.

We have an entire studio/workshop of beautiful custom made leather, high end hardware sourced from Buckle Guy and lots of tools and supplies. We made handcrafted leather and waxed canvas bags and accessories and built a brand that people loved. We are located in Fresno, California. We closed up shop a couple years ago and we still have tons of raw materials. We have kept it all in our insulated and temperature controlled garage for the last couple years. I have been trying to sell everything, and I’ve had some success at selling some stuff but there is still so much left. I need it gone! I don’t want to keep paying to store it and I’m willing to let it go to whoever …

Can anyone recommend a heavy-duty snap? I just bought some snaps from Buckleguy but they aren't anywhere near strong enough and I don't want to have to keep buying samples. This is for a body harness (as well as motorcycle gear) and will take a moderate amount of stress. Thanks in advance!

over the years I have purchased highly detailed embossing plates for my commercial work from a guy overseas. They are laser engraved 5mm acrylic and incredibly detailed. I have produced hundreds and hundreds of wholesale items with these plates but they are starting to wear out and time to reorder... That's the problem. It's been a number of years and seems like I purchased these on Ebay. I remember he was either in Russia or Ukraine, because the package arrived with cyrillic on it. It's not only the craftsmanship of the embossing plates but also the actual graphics he uses that are excellent. If anyone has an contact information I would be very grateful. …

Hello, I have gotten into leather working and wanted to make my own hybrid weight belt. This requires a 4" rectangular loop for the Velcro for tightening. The only problem is that I cannot find 4" loops anywhere at all. Does anybody know a place to buy them?

Can anyone tell me who the original manufacturer of the plastic push beveller that fits in your swivel knife was? Was there a part number? A similar reproduction is listed as the CraftMaster Push Beveller on Springfield Leather's site. https://www.springfieldleather.com/Craftmaster-Push-Beveller

I don't know if this will be useful for anyone else but I sure hope so. I'm a broke dude so I have to watch my expenditures very closely and this is something I usually do for myself before I buy anything. I'm hoping someone else will find it useful. I'm VERY OPEN to feedback of any sort. 20240407 Neatsfoot Oil Comparison.ods
