  1. That looks very nice! Awesome work!!
  2. I don't do a lot of leather work, occasional knife sheaths, small holsters. I'm just a hobbyist. I would like to do a belt but I only hand stitch and don't want to attempt a belt that way. I seen this machine on FB and was wondering if anyone has seen one of these or know if it would be good for my projects. Btw, I only work with veg tan and my thickest stuff is usually about 1/4" thick. Thanks for any help! Bobby

  8. That is awesome! Love the carving! I can't even imagine myself trying to sew that. Lol
  9. Nice work! Good comeback
  10. Me too! Lol I just don't make enough holsters or sheaths to warrant the price. It would be different if I made them to sell on a regular basis.
  11. Ya, I just bought one of those iron sets off amazon for now. I found one size in there I like. They're pretty sharp. Can't complain about them right now. I'm sure if I get to using it more, I'll have to start sharpening.
  12. Those look great! I bought me some of those clips a couple years back but have never used them. I noticed you used screws to secure them. Are the holes in the leather just punched for the screws? Stabilized in any way? Great job again!!!
  13. Welcome! Nice bag!!!
  14. Looks good!
  15. Sweeet!! I'm sure she'll love all of them. Nice work!
  16. That's a good idea. I use to just put a small piece of leather under the clamps. Those hobby lobby clamps work great tho. There's like 30 or so clamps in a pack for I think $10. Not a bad deal.
  17. I bought a bag of those clear plastic little leather clamps at hobby lobby. They work pretty good for not leaving clamp marks.
  18. Very nice! That's a lot of stitching. That's the only thing that keeps me from wanting to make a belt. I figure I would have to have at least 20' or more of thread to keep from tangling up while hand stitching.
  19. My first thought also. Lol
  20. That is really nice! If I may ask, where did you get the pattern for that. I'd love to make one for one of my rifles.
  21. That is awesome! Thanks for sharing!
  22. Ouch, hope you get to feeling better. Thanks for the response!
