A friend at work wanted a case to hold her keys and I D. She wanted her keys inside the case so they would not "rattle". So here it is. The flower is one I freehanded trying to come up with something different, give me your honest opinion. Oh yeah I can't sew a staight line sorry!!!!!

After I delivered the first holster and shell belt to the client I got another order from him for a holster that he could add to the left side. It wouldn't just slip over the buckle and be tight so this is what I come up with. Also made him a holder for 2 clips. This was also a first (semi auto holster) that is, tell me what you think.

This is just my opinion but if I was you I'd go ahead and spend a little more and get a motor driven machine. The reasons for this is; 1 tippmans go for around 1400.00 new artisan 3000 (the one I own) 1800.00 plus shipping. 2 why pull a handle when you can push a peddle with your foot and free up your hands to guide your leather 3 I personally am pleased with my machine, haven't had any trouble with breaking and also the folks at artisan were helpful when I got it. There are other machines out there but I haven't used them, I'm sure they will also work, if its gonna break I dont want it even if they fix it for free. They need to make it so it doesn't break in my opinion. I think you'll be a lot happier in the long run, the only thing I would change on mine is throat depth. Just my opinion G.Robbins

I thought I saw a flyer on saddle making classes to start in january at hidecrafters about a month ago but didn't think to pick one up. Does anyone have any info on this or did I dream it. When they start, the cost and duration of the class. I'd like to make my grandson a saddle for his b-day and have no saddle making experience. Is there a good dvd lesson plan out there that doesn't cost an arm and a leg that you all would recomend? Let me know. Thanks All!!

I dont see anything wrong with the stitching it looks good to me. The whole thing looks good. What does "IWB" and "OWB" stand for, I'm thinking inside and outside waste band but not sure.

Tim, I to have recently started useing lexol in my casing solution along with the baby shampoo, and I think it has made life a whole lot easier. My guess would be the oils in the lexol. Maybe someone will give you a definite answer and then I'll know too! I do have a question for you, can you carve longer without stropping? I don't know if it is the solution or I finally got my knife sharp! LOL G. Robbins

The reason i'm asking is i'm still lookin for the technique that works mine doesn't! They will lay and look good but won't last. They start to fray after a short period of time.

If your worrying about alittle ring around that rivet, I think I'll just keep my pics to myself. Your bein too picky, and it's on the back side I think it all looks great, love those belt edges. Do you have a problem with your edges frayin with age?

Cool! I had never heard of "kumihimo" before and was wondering if it resembled the braids i've used in making horse gear.

The stand looks good. Post pics of the braid you are teaching if you can, i would like to see what those stands create. Is that the instructions in the picture or did you come up with them?
