Make most of it or I have bought hides from Tejas (Bill Confer). Depends on whether or not I have access to hides locally. Scrape them dry with ashes.

Looks like it might be hard to guide a small string the closer U get to the blade because the bearing surface drops off. Wouldn't know without using it.

String size for the necklaces in mm / larger for the body and smaller for the knots. Beveling the string.

Usually 52" but that depends some on the person ordering. The connector is 3". Hope this helps.

I made the romal from harness leather sewn together. It is about 3/8".
