  1. very very nice work you sir are setting a high standard!!
  2. ive been jonesing for more videos on your site since i first joined up here and saw the first one thanks!
  3. wareagle the only thing i would change about the mouth piece on that one is i would actually modify it to where its just a tad bit longer so it reaches from one side of the mouth to the other but so far just wearing the holster around i havent noticed any problems with it how it is and thanks for the compliment!
  4. great looking buttcuff! i love it. the holsters look good as well especially for your first ones is it just me or on the springfield xd holster where the trigger guard is molded it looks like its almost hanging over the stitch line it could just be the pic though but keep up the good work!
  5. thanks mike input from you is always appreciated and i think my threads a little on the thin side im handstitching by the way. the waxed thread i've ordered from tandy is just honestly junk it rips before i even get it started through the stitch hole and. nope no eco-flo on this one actually using fiebings chocolate brown next time im going to airbrush it on this time i put it on with a dauber its wierd i think i hit a bad spot of leather because there are some slight coloration variances on the front side of the holster its way lighter than the rest but hey i like them gives it character but yes i'll definately be working on more soon
  6. thanks king i appreciate it as i said its far from perfect. got to thinking about it and when i went about molding the holster i put it up on my roof to help dry ( its been rather hot and cloudless in north ga right now) so im thinking maybe the roof was a little too hot for the bluegun and thats what caused the two blue spots on the sweat shield
  7. sorry about the large pics guys not quite sure how to resize them down....and also sorry for the bad image quality
  8. well guys this is the first holster ive done that im proud enough of to post on here to show all of you i've only been at this for about 4 months now but thanks to you guys ive learned alot and become quite inspried. this isnt my first holster its actually my 4th one ( 5th if you count the first abysmal faliure of a holster) and id like to thank all of you for the info and inspiriation this ones far from perfect but hey im proud of it. oh. if youll notice the pic of the sweatguard see the 2 blue lines? thats actually from the blue gun and im at a loss as to why it did that...ive never had it happen before maybe someone could give some insight? this is a pancake for a g23 blue gun i had laying around
  9. all i can say is beautiful! i wish i could tool like that
  10. man that it one sharp holster! did you vaccum mold it? cause you definately got the detail of that ejection port lol looks great!
  11. could maybe take away from the structural integrity of the holster too depending on the light grantted thats just my 2 cents and cant be exactly sure
  12. usually when i finish one i use a 50/50 misture of resolene and good ol water i tried straight resoline and it was just wayyyy too strong as mike said it can be applied by airbrush dauber etc. so far i've been pleased with the results. which reminds me i need to post on here!
  13. well its kinda hard to critique because of the size of the pics but aside from what you mentioned i have to say GREAT job on a first holster i wish my first holster had come out half as well as t hat one keep up the work!!
  14. that looks great! ive been itching to make a set like that!
  15. that must have took ALOT of time to carve! beautiful!
  16. those sir are gorgeous! and welcome to the forums! by the way did you use a machine for stitching? because it looks GREAT! and im definately loving the one sheath that looksl ike it has woodgrain *drools on keyboard while staring at it*
  17. looks good! i found with the airbrush and brown dyes is it kinda hit small spots with short quick sprays it might take a little longer but eventually it'll give a good even coat granted. thats just my method and you gotta use what works best for YOU!!!!! good job!!
  18. i was carousing slc as i often do and noticed tonight that they raised the prices of horse butts to 12 bucks! thats not a bad price but im glad i got mine when it was only $10 i'll still be buying plenty of em when money allows though theyre a good quality for the price!
