  1. first off great looking holster! i usually just take a belt blank thats the size that i need and use that for my belt slots
  2. bruce i love those i hope that i can make a product that gorgeous one day! quick question where did you aquire the black cherry dye and how did you apply it and mayyybee what did you use for a finish? lol i just LOVE how they came out greaty work very inspring sir

  4. i had that problem with the first holster i made turns out i used too much resolene a little too quickly the last 2 holsters i've done i decided trying to mix the resolene 50/50 with water and i just brushed it on with a wool dauber and it worked great no cracking yet. word of caution though if youre gonna put on more than one good coat you do want to let it dry in between applications i usually let it dry over night before i put another coat on
  5. thanks cheryl i've actually made the 2nd kit youre talking about and i actually LOVE it just keep it in my front pocket with the clip facing outwards its the first kid you mentioned that im trying to get stock of

  12. okay that was really the only thing i could find that looked wrong with them in all honesty brad...lol
  13. shouldnt have any issues with it i just like to make sure the glue is dried long enough ( usually over night or half the day) then form atleast thats how i do it with holsters and the like
  14. +1 on the construction paper. its gonna be your best friend with making bracers and if you decide to do production runs of them you'll always have a pattern i had the same problem you are when i first started doing bracers

  16. youre welcome brad one thing i do notice is at the point end of the sheath it looks kinda like the layers of leather on the top and on the welt arent meeting up just flush together on the edges. is that just the angle of the pic?

  18. i like it! my question is how does it conform around the waist when worn? it looks to me (im young but my eyesight is still very bad) that the leather between the holster and the mag carrier looks fairly stiff? overall great design though!
  19. hey guys has anyone tried the money clipper kit available through tandy? i've had one of the flip card kids for awhile now and its finally starting to show some wear and i've been curious about that kit for while

  21. oh i'll make sure to as soon as i can get it! the nasty weather has but a bit of a delay on the delivery but im hoping for it either tomorrow or wednesday!
