Wild Bunch Rig
gregintenn replied to Boothill Bob's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
I had no idea there were cowboy action matches in Sweden. Here's my take on a wild bunch style holster. I like it, but it isn't in the same league with yours! -

Issues With Glock Holsters

Yep...I said that wrong...it is impossible for me to make anything that isn't ugly for them. Sorry if I offended you. -
Issues With Glock Holsters
gregintenn replied to troop's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
I've told several folks that they should get a plastic holster for their plastic pistol. It is impossible to make anything that isn't ugly for them. -
Proto Type 1911 Tooled Holster
gregintenn replied to goodfella's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Beautiful holster. Simple and elegant. I love it. The buckles are too flashy for my taste however. -

Couple Finished - Take A Look
gregintenn replied to mattsh's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Very nice indeed! -
I like the mag pouch. I haven't quite qrapped my head around how you get the rounded edges at the bottom to line up correctly when the front is obviously a larger piece of leather than the back, allowing room for the mag. You did good. With a stitck wheel and groover, you'll be amazed how much more professional your work will appear.

Several Sheath From Russia

Very nice work indeed. There are some quite interesting knives in the photos as well. Thanks for sharing. -
Nice belt. I've done it, and will probably do it again. However, I do not encourage a customer to order a belt from me. I also find out how far it is around the customer before quoting a price. A 30" belt isn't near the pain a 48" is.

Ruger Lcp Holster Question
gregintenn replied to BanjoMan's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
I make them, and yes. The P3AT seems ever so slightly thinner than the LCP, but they both fit the same holster correctly. -

Nice looking holster......for the ugliest #*&$ handgun I've ever seen. -
Please don't apologize. I value every opinion I've received to date from this site. It has been a wealth of knowledge. I thank each of you for your help and the advice you freely share. After I read your post, I googled Simply Rugged Holsters. After a quick look at his site, I do see a resemblance. While I have heard the brand mentioned, I can't say I knew what one looked like before today. Thanks for the compliment, Greg

Sir, Any similarity to anyone's designs are purely coincidence. I simply wrote down what the customers asked for, drew and cut out patterns and made them. I didn't copy anone's design intentionally, nor did I even look for pictures of existing holsters.

Very cool! Odd, out of production handguns, as well as being left handed, were why I found myself first interested in learning to make holsters. Heres a crossdraw holster i made for a fellow. It holds a 1917 Savage 32. ...and a pancake for a CZ 52.
