I guess it is brand from some german language coutry I renovated the entire instrument and now serves well on measurements tanned leather even after all this time exactly Martin

AMAZING design!!! -
If I can add my experience from the other side of the ocean. I understand the big skirts and I like them-but not in women .... For us in Europe are short saddle skirts are very popular. The saddle is smaller, compact and lightweight. And it is for hobby riders comfortable. In Europe, they are not real cowboys, and therefore the opinion hobby riders for the manufacturer of saddles important. In addition, we have a slightly different type of horse-small, short, short and broad back. Such horses have a coat worn by long skirts and riders do not like it. This year I built a saddle for Leather World debut in Sheridan and the jury agreed that the skirts are short. Nevertheless, this type of skirt popular in Europe .... and finally I was on the 2 spot. So I think that short skirts are beautiful, but not too bad Martin

Hi all My friend gave me this saddle. He got it from his friends from the U.S. Saddle was found somewhere in Texas and we have no other information on its origin On the saddle there are not any marks or brands ,only the brass buttons on sides of fork are silhouettes of saddle. Like, if anyone has any information about this wonderful piece of history Thanks Martin
-
There is nothing to thank. Marks on my tools also do not know. Tassel brand is still on another old tool - round knife , rein rounder and oval puncher. Therefore I think that it was a manufacturer with great production. Another brand-Horseshoe with star-is only on this tool. I asked my colleague from the University of Tomas Bata. He is an expert on the history of saddlery and leather work and waiting for an answer. Martin
