One of my friend received a gift of an old saddle. It is the saddle from Visalia company. Is a in very poor condition, with a broken fork and cantle, very unprofessionally repaired. A friend received information that the saddle is more than 100 years old. BUT ..... I am very closely at this saddle and I discovered that the tree is FIBERGLASS covered. Does anyone have any information please when it began using fiberglass cover of tree? I think that it was later than 100 years ago Thanks Martin

QH Freak fork 18" width 7/8 single ring rig (nickel plated bronze) german silver conchos 22" tapaderos Tooling: floral and geometric with embossed longhorn head on cantle and tapaderos(not according to the original saddle,it ´s just my idea and attempt with new tools )
