  8. well after ANOTHER service problem from TLF(sent my last order to wrong address), i've about had it with them. i still don't understand how they could ship to a wrong address, after they have had my new address in their system for the last 7 months... i doubt if i will renew my membership with them again, unless they offer me a MAJOR discount. i'm PISSED. i'm looking for a new supplier for hide, tools, and hardware. can anyone recommend alternate sources (that ship to canada) to me? thanks
  9. i think ou did a fine job! i'm still pretty new to leathercraft, but from what i've read, i think using gum taragranth on the edges, followed by rubbing briskly with a slicker(i use a TLF wooden model) will fix up your edges. i'm still not brave enough for wet molding... lol.
  10. only thing i see wrong with it is that i don't own it! bravo! excellent work!
  11. very nice modular system. very nice nife too.
  12. i had the same problem with Bison Brown.:wtf: it turned out to be my sponge i was using for an applicator. im not sure why cause it was new outta the package, and i rinsed it well before use. i went back to using TLF dauber, and the brown dyed as it should.
  13. i really like the leatherman pouch. any chance to get a pattern for that?
  14. wow. that leathermn sheath is very nice! any chance i can get a pattern for that?
  15. what stamp did you use for the texture sylwek?? i love it.
  16. upon first glance, i thought it was a TLF Ranger belt kit... but only for a second... then i couldn't stop staring at it! it is a piece of art! very well done! what dye did you use on it? was it Eco-Flo Midnight Black?
  17. how about photobucket.com? i use it and it works for me.
  18. that would make a really nice netbook bag! well done! just curious; where did you get those beautiful metal rings on the top of the bag(i'm used to just seeing regular "D" rings?
  19. pretty nice. any inside shots of the purse?
  20. how about something like a 1 ton press like this? http://www.princessauto.com/workshop/garage/fabrication-and-equipment/shop-press/3460011-1-ton-arbor-press not too expensive, and im sure you can find something like it locally...
  21. Mike, nice job on all of them. your minimal holster kinda looks like the TLF pattern. again. nice job.
  22. so i started my first journal cover today. i got the leather all cut out, and grovved all my edges. now the question is: Snaps or Buckles to hold it shut? the journal measures, 8.5"x 5". i currently own line 24 snaps, and a few of each buckle in 1/2", 1", and 3/8". decisions... decisions...
