  9. For those of you using airbrushes go to airbrush.com look in the tips and tricks section I have been using these tools since early 1996 on various things from textile to automotive . It all boils down to application of the tools and money you have to spend on them.
  10. Whatever you are shooting through em should have the consistency of skim milk or thinner period.
  11. Hidecrafters sells the set for the price of one tool from the other place I talked to hidecrafters personally and it's the same tool hmmm? Needless to say hidecrafters got my business.
  12. 1st off thank you all for the replies! the edges are just saddlesoaped and burnished by hand using a cherrywood burnisher, I just returned from my Indies shop we mocked it up and the chop looks MEAN maybe one day i will get to do my own seat and tool bag etc etc (yea right there are millions of plumbers who have a toilet in their own house stopped up!!!)

  16. Rolmao!!! I just read your post and feel pretty dang silly cause if you read the one I just made they have way too many similarities!!! I think Montana pitch blend is the answer for both of us! Also as far as the Lac sticking you shouldnt have any issues, for my part I have been using light coats of EVOO and allowing the leather to completely soak in the oil then a couple of coats of deft then antique then a couple coats more of deft after then my homebrew beeswax, paraffin and EVOO. Depending on item I also hand rub some kiwi neutral on. As per a couple of boardmembers (katsass) do.
  17. Ok so here we go! I've ordered some MTPB and am wondering how it's going to react on items that are finished with neatlac and similar products. I have been treating my items with a pretty good beeswax, paraffin and evoo blend with good results but want the added protection of the pitch just dont want the added hassle of making my own blend. For those who use MTPB please give any experience..thanks in advance ...stealf ...
