  1. I've had sloppier died edges - don't be so analytical. Your work is always good but the natural backed holsters I've seen you do are some of my favorites!
  2. Out of curiosity, do you have a welt that runs up to the gun or does it rely more on the strap for long-term retention? I'm asking for my own designs sake. As always beautiful work.
  3. That is a very fine looking piece, you should be proud!

  9. I think that turned out excellent. I've attempted oil finishes and they didn't look anywhere near that good.
  10. The rifle is a Winchester 94 30-30 made in '56. Thanks for the compliment, I'm anxious to see how the next few turn out.
  11. I finished my first 'personal' project tonight. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot with this one and the next one will be much better because of it. Like I said it isn't perfect but I'm very pleased with it for a first attempt: The stitching is a bit botched in two places, if this was going to someone I would have pulled it and restitched it which would have also allowed me to fix the 'roll' I should have caught as well.
  12. You should be happy as that looks fantastic my friend
  13. That mandolin strap is my favorite, great work from a man with MANY talents. You must stay quite busy.
  14. That is a gorgeous rig. I have a friend wanting something similar for a Scoped 44 Magnum I just haven't had the nerve to cut that much leather! I also like the idea of speed strip pouches of an ammo loop/belt.
