  17. WOW!! love them all favourite one MAPLE LEAF!lol awsome work the last design on the right sould be a great seller my opinion
  18. I am working on a dog collar that has the croc skin on top...never used croc before..lol..I end up thining out the skin a lot using a belt grinder. Because i used 2 small straps, i had to spilce them and make a long enough piece to cover the whole collar...make sure you follow the scale pattern when you splice them so it won't show...i tried my best on mine but it's not perfect. As far as stitching goes, i think i am gonna use my Boss. If hand stitched i would probably use the 4 prong following a stitch groove..the stitching, in my oppinion, makes or brakes the final look Good luck !!! Here are some pics of what i've done so far I used the 2 sides of the skin This is the back of it before sanding I cut the straps a bit wider then the width i needed This is how it looks after thining them out using the belt sander...notice the edges are thiner the the rest of the strap This are both straps spliced together (in the center of the picture) and glued to the main body of the collar... a 10oz veg.tan
  19. Are you running a regular leather feed dog?...or one of those specialized plates (slotted or holster plate) ?
  20. This is the second video ...Bob Kovar doing some sewing with the Cowboy CB4500
  21. I visisted Bob Kovar yesterday and end up getting a Cowboy CB 4500.We spent few good hours talking sewing machines and going over the CB 4500.The machine performs flawlessly...the reverse works perfect, the stitch looks very good, the motor hes plenty of power , easy to control and the machine is pretty quiet.I just set the machine up( it takes about 30min) and tried few things...I had my 10yrs old daughter playing with it for a minute or two and she had no problems stitching .. I will keep you updated once i start using on a daily basis, trying few different things and so on... This is a short clip of Bob Kovar threading the machine..let me know if you guys can can see it.There is another short clip with the machine performing but i am still loading it up on YouTube....should be here in few hours. Thanks Bob !!!

  23. tandy does have 1 1/4 inch dees as for buckles simple roller buckles
  24. Im curious on these 2 big machines which is the superior, easier to use, cost used and new. These are suppose to be the cats butt (lol) of harness machines or so ive been told any input.
  25. Pros and cons ? Any reason why would i pick one over the other one? Cost?....Reliability?...Replacement parts?...Trouble shooting?....User friendly?...and so on... Thank you !
