  1. very neatly done. I know nothing of saddles. the only thing I would add would be on your leaves to fade in and out of your pear shader instead of just a punch. but what do I know. just a rookie really.
  2. Looks good to me! I made a couple of em. I buckstitched one. turned out pretty good. easier than hand stitching.

  11. I appreciate all the info and input from the experienced guys. I will be purchasing the CB3200!! Just waiting on the mailman with our tax return.
  12. Well I have clearance from my financial advisor to purchase a machine. But I do have a budget unfortunately. lol. I can get the CB3200 at a shop in Dallas which is within driving distance. So I will probably do that. I found an Adler 205-64. Supposedly works good but thoroughly used. price is same range as a new 3200.
  13. Here is another knife and scabbard I made. I forge all my blades from old Chevy truck leaf springs. I try different finishes on the blades just for effect. very tough blades and make great skinning knives. anyway I just got my shop set up again after about 2 years. trying to get my hand back in the leather side of things. I've noticed my eyes aren't as good as they used to be. broke down and bought a pair of 'cheaters'. Seems to help a little. hurt my pride a little. lol.
  14. at this point its mostly scabbards (3 layers 8oz.) But I've had request for holsters, conceal carry type and BBQ style as well. Which would be some of the lighter stuff, maybe couple layers of 6oz. Are there any other machines comparable to the CB3200 out there that I've missed??
  15. Most of my projects are 3 layers of 8 oz. on the big end and maybe a single 8 oz. on the light end. Does anyone know if the CB2500 will handle this? Or should I just spend the extra on the CB3200? Thanks. Eddie.
  16. hope that's more for show than go. awesome.
  17. those are awesome. nice knife work.
  18. shoot I like em. nice sewing job. the tooling might be a little smoother. maybe chase with a modeling tool. idk, nice anyway.
