  1. For an IWB Holster is it better to do a pancake style or pouch style?. Does it make a difference? Is it more what you prefer to make? Thanks
  2. Can you show a picture of the holster front and back with out the straps on? I am racking my brain on how they attach.
  3. Thanks! Are you talking about the EWK barrels? Thats what this guy has. And yes I was thinking more of a pouch style holster. I was just calling it a clam because it folds like a clam. Would I just measure the with of the gun and then lay in on its side and and my stich lines that way? Do I still need to leave 1/2" inch to 3/4" from the outline of the gun? Thanks
  4. Would you mind taking a pic of your DW? The gentleman who I am making the holster for has a 2 in slabide that he wants to carry IWB.Good looking holster!
  5. Need some help a gentleman asked me to make him a IWB holster for a Dan Wesson with a heavy shroud. I have drawer up a pancake style holster but it looks huge! I am wondering if it would be better to do more of a clam shell IWB holster. When drawing a pattern for a clam shell how much space do I need to leave?
  6. Yeah it has a thumb break on it. my Dad is oldschool PO and doesnt trust open top holsters. Thats the way he wanted it so thats how he got it.
  7. I add to much space for the stitch line on the barrel. Oh well still like it. That is a nice looking holster as well.
  8. Thanks for the info! One more dumb question can the straps be moved for either right or left handed? Or should I ask the customer which he wants?
  9. What size T Nuts do y'all use for IWB holsters?
  10. Good Morning- Need some help with a heat box/Dry box. I have been told to just get a convection oven and others have said to make one. I cant find any plans for one on the net. It will be used mostly for holster and small items. Can some one point me in the right direction? thanks
  11. That's what I was thinking. I think I will tell him I can't do it. Thanks for the input.
  12. Does anyone know of a IWB Holster that could be switched from right hand to left hand? I was asked to do a simple pancake holster and sew in (sandwhich in between two layers and then sticthed around) sometype of nut so the straps could be switched side to side thus creating a holster that could be worn for a right or left handed person. I have been racking my brain over this for a couple of weeks but cant seem to figure the best way of doing this. Any advice would be greatly appericated.
  13. Seeing that reminded me of this holster a friend sent me a picture of a while ago.
