    You mean a vacuum sealer? In order to pull the leather onto the form? The wet forming looked fine it was when I began to attach that portion of the pouch to the main body of the sheath when I ran into problems. I guess I needed some relief cuts or something?

    If you remember these knives you'll definitely give away your age some. Built this for a friend who was fond of his knife but not the sheath. I was going for a rustic outdoors look.

    I did a basket weave on the entire front of this sheath for a customer. For some reason its very difficult to keep the stamp perfectly straight for me.

    I like it ! Forgive my ignorance but how do you manage to get a dark background and lighter contrasting flowers? Is the dye painted on meticulously avoiding the flowers?

    It may be a bit more rigid for buckleing and such but I think you did awesome by making it look seamless with the liner material! Its very nice that way. I may have to steal that idea!

    Very nice! Definetely on my list of to do projects. I'm thinking I've got a cheap grinder that would serve this purpose nicely and would probably work with its own motor.
