I replaced the brushes, to no avail! Just seemed quieter, but that could be because it had time to cool off?

What or where does one find a sewing machine for sewing the leather welts onto a insole for new boot construction? Would want one that will do the popular 2 rows of sole stitching... so I’m guessing a wider leather welt would need to work?

I’m looking for a sole stitcher for making boots, and want to know which ones are capable of doing the popular double stitch? Is there a special attachment one needs to do this? thanks!

Easy fix, email them to yourself, and let the phone downsize them for you!

I ordered a Consew from Amazon! I think it’s the 3/4 HP 7500 one? It was supposed to arrive today, but I left for work at 4:00 and it still wasn’t there?

Sorry for lack of details! This is a Family Brand... I believe it’s a 1/2 HP that I bought 5 or so years ago for a 31-15! It’s only got maybe two pair of chaps on it? Maybe an hour of sewing? The spindle and the shaft have both quit spinning, thenbthat noise was never there? This may be “self inflicted” as I tied the clutch activation arm all the way down, to keep the motor at a constant speed, and was hoping to use the clutch that’s built into the Union Lockstitch!

Just replaced the bushing things? Electrical stuff? And still no go?

Spent the morning setting this up on my Union Lockstitch, and 5 minutes into using it it starts making this noise, and then quit spinning?

That’s where I’m looking next! From the wires, it goes from a panel, to the head, then back into that micro switch thing, that looks like it activates the fluid to move things in the cylinder!

I’ve tried both ways... it’s only a split second and it shuts off on its own! In the beginning of the thread, I posted a YouTube video of the exact same machine... it seems the adjustable knob has been removed in that video? So I’m not sure where to go? It does have a “micro switch” below the table near the pump and motor? I’ll start looking at that next! I’m out of town for a few days, so I’ll hope a lightbulb goes off in one of y’all heads! Hopefully someone has a similar unit, and we can compare wiring?
