If this is you messing up, I would hate to see when you get it right This is beautiful. Cheryl

Bonnie I've never even seen one, so don't know how well it works. If you get one, let us know, ok? Cheryl

Bill I use google chrome and there aren't any pop ups when I'm here. they have 4 banner ads at the top and those have always been there, they don't 'pop up.' I think you must have some sort of infection because I never get a pop up on here. Are you talking about the boxes that pop up when you mouse over someone's name? Cheryl

I condition mine with bag balm and then do what Chief said about roiling it end to end. Just my conditioner of choice but neatsfoot oil will do the same. I have done mine after finishing and still get good results and I use resolene. Maybe it just working the leather that relaxes in. Cheryl

Great carving Aaron and a great idea. Cheryl

Thanks David. Then I understand perfectly what WinterBear means. guess I should have asked a long time ago what it meant. Cheryl

OK that makes perfect sense to me EXCEPT what is the welt piece for anyway? I hear that term used all the time on different projects but I am not sure what you do with it. I have always confused it with piping on upholstery. Cheryl

I can see what Aaron means on his example, and I'm wondering if there is a way to make it look ok like WinterBear said. I don't understand exactly how that would work, can't 'see' it in my head but sound like it would work with what Aaron did. A picture would help me so much, I'm sorry Jim. Cheryl

I've got to try the waterstains. That's beautiful. Thanks for posting. Cheryl

I have 3 Singer sewing machines and never once thought about just using the needle to make hand stitching holes, DOH. Cheryl

Life of the big biz owner, LOL. All I accomplished was giving away a gift certificate and had to pull teeth to do that

Good luck JJ in everything. Cheryl

UPDATES Mike. I went today, it was cold, we didn't have over 50 people and I lost money. Another day at the gambling table like I said.....Cheryl

Aurelie your saddles are beautiful and will sell themselves soon. I sold a guitar strap at my second one so that made up for all the angst of the first. Off again today for third, WOOT.

You welcome Gen. Cheryl

I agree with the above....beautiful work, and great on the one stitch. People will always know it's handmade. Cheryl

Hey guy think I answered that for you, I hope:) Don't discount those old Singers out of hand, no matter what the naysayers might explain. I use mine almost daily. Cheryl

LOL, My poor sister works at Walmart and her life is in danger every year I swear. Once she got me a Harry Potter book for xmas on Black Friday Gen and I swear I still laugh at the story. I am assuming you mean online leather companies. Springfield Leather Company (banner at top like Mike said) has 3 10 day deals every month so I'd check there first. You mentioned the clothing industry and right now the have some shearling and some tobacco lamb that might be right up your alley. I'd just check their sales every 10 days and forget Tandy. Cheryl
