    Man thank you! now that you said that I remember watching a how to video and he was using a glass piece. Is it ok to use the granite top for skiving?

    I use a super skiver that uses replacement blades, is there a more durable skiver or should I be using the knife style skiver?

    Looking for some decrative chicago screws, I could of sworn I had found some on the internet but now I am unable to find anything, looking for anything but western.

    Just wondering how long a skiver blade should last, it only seem like I am only abel to complete one whole watch strap before the blade no longer cuts smoothly. Is there a better blade out there that last longer or is there a way to get more life out of these blades?

    Thanks for your responces. I do most work using exotics so usually have 2 pieces that are diiferent colors and use an edge coat to blend the 2 pieces, just a cleaner look IMPO.

    i currently use Feibling's Dura Edge. Is there something else that is better to use on edges, something a little more durable?

    Is there anything that can be done to keep pearls from falling off of a finished product or to reinforce the strength? Protection from everyday wear a tear

    Your a lucky man. I guess these bags are really hit or miss the one I got was a bag of very small scraps and the only good pieces were all lizard.

    Most of it is lizard and striped is printed lizard the brown I believe is elephant. Do you have any interest in selling the piece of red lizard?

    just got a bag of scrap exotics from Springfeild leather and had a litle more lizard skins then needed, since I already had 4 full skins. If anyone is interested in trading some Toad or other exotics sraps you may have please PM me, also looking for some 2-3oz whatever. thank you.
