  1. Thank you Ben. Right now I'm working two jobs to catch up, so I work on tool orders in the evenings. I am trying to be able to spend 3-4 days in the shop at a time in the near future so I can actually have some stamps in stock.
  2. Here is the impression sheet as promised. There are some tools that are not on it that I have built and there are MANY MANY more to come.
  3. Kevin, I have an impression sheet that I can email you. There are some tools that have missed making it onto the sheet, but feel free to ask if there's anything that you are interested in but do not see.
  4. Thanks Steve!! Just to let everyone know, my tool line is expanding more and more since I recently aquired a duplicating mill to increase my turn around time. I will start posting more pics as I get new tools built.I currently do mostly floral tools, but I am adding baskets, borders and geometrics in the very near future. You can contact me on here by private message or my email is blueridgebucker@yahoo.ca, or call me at 780 706 6292. PS...I wouldn't allow a guy like Steve to have interest in my tool company!!! LOL Thanks again buddy
  5. The PRCA regulations on saddles outline the maximum undercut to the swells. Most of the trees available do not exceed these measurements. Your best bet as far as building one is to get ahold of a good used one, I suggest a good old Severe, G Bar G or Broken Arrow.
  6. Try Sheridan Leather Outfitters. I'm pretty sure I saw some there the last time I was in the store. 307 674 6679
  7. Hi Shannon, Your next best bet is Caledon Leather in Calgary. I buy a lot of my chap leather from Sheridan Leather in Sheridan Wyoming as well. There has never been an issue getting leather across the border, as it is a raw material. Hope this Helps. Caledon Leather 403 252 0232 Sheridan Leather 307 674 6679
  8. I finished these chinks up last night for a very good friend of mine. She competes in mounted shooting and wanted something original...well here's what I came up with...
  9. Well folks, here's the latest pair to leave the shop. Frankly I am getting sick of building black chaps...guess what though, the next pair are black too!!
  10. I have to beg to differ that Bill's stamps are too pricey. I own a set of his bargrounders and wouldn't be without them now. I know that he makes them the old fashioned way by hand and just like leatherwork, we need to get paid for what we do. (I also build stamps so I know the time that can go into one)
  11. Not to burst your bubble, but I have 3 from Bob Douglas and I haven't found a corner that I can't edge into or out of with them. And there are some mighty tight corners on my chap yokes. Bob calls them a turnback edger
  12. Hilly, Hied House in California has metallic pig and they also have some 1.75-2oz plonge cow. www.hidehouse.com
  13. Hey all. I got back from Sheridan less than a week ago, I built 8 slickers and have them ready to ship this week. I'll get shipping quotes and PayPal requests to those who requested a slicker by friday.
  14. 5/16 inch shank and yes it gets chucked up in a drill press. They are $40
  15. Here is one of the edge slickers I have built recently. This particular one went to Steve Mason.
  16. I built these chaps for Chance and Tyrell Smith. I had never carved anything like this on chap yokes before in my life...yikes!
  17. Lowy Enterprises in California or DJ Associates in Ft. Smith Arkansas both carry releases, they call them latch and link assemblies

  18. Hey Tim, First off, they look pretty dang shiney. I have a coouple suggestions that you may or may not want to take into consideration. I would like the rise (or drop) from crotch to top of waist a little shorter so that the top seam on the inside thigh is closer to the crotch. And then on your buckle tabs, I rivet them on because of the fact that there is a great chance they will need to be replaced. As well I make the inside thigh where the buckles attach narrower from top to bottom on my bullriding chaps so that the guys can fold them back easier in the chute. Other than that, keep knocking them out!
  19. Thank you very much for the subtle advertising plug Mark. The spur straps look great.
  20. I'm pretty sure the Wade is a Rafter W saddle.
  21. That's a pretty cool way of mixing geometrics MarK!! Good job my friend.
