hi all I have not been on for some time or even made anything from leather but the other day I made a collar for the girl friends dog simple design anyway its made from tan bridle leather nickle fittings

hi all as a few of you know i make dog collars and leads and so on but never had a go at making a watch strap what i want to know is what size thread would i need and needles i was wanting to use ostrich leather on the front veg tan in the midle and pig on the inside but can't for the life of me find any ostrich leather in uk i only need a small amount to does anyone on hear use it and could i buy a small amount cheers kev

had a trade on another forum for a walking stick thumb stick for when i go out with my dogs so i traded him one of my collars we are both happy with the itams we have now and i made a slip lead for out hunting with your dog for another member on the same forum

a customer wanted the material part off the collar and bridle leather as a swap

made thiss for a hunting dog its a quick slip lead

i have a couple of slip leads with collars i have to make for some hunting pals of mine they will be simple too soon as the belts done post some pics

just made this its bridle leather in tan with nickel trigger hook and rivets

nice work just wish i could do a bit today but too ill so in bed looking at some good leather work

If you get a bevler your edges will look so much better and put edge kote on too I only use bridle leather for my collars but its not cheap in the UK well over priced if you ask me I can do a little bit of tooling nothing special though

do you use a edge bevler most of the pics the edges look square if you bevel them dye the edges then burnish and put edge kote on makes for a far neater job also if you use bridle leather will look more high end only a suggestion hope I don't effend you

how long have you been working with leather

some nice work the dogs look grate don't think any of my dogs could pull weariing a collar like yours off
