made a gun sling for my self from veg tan died it brown and lined it with pig skin then i made a member of a hunting forum a collar for his whippet this is made from bridle leather and hand sewn pig skin lining on it with brass hardware

I use pree dyed bridle shoulder for my collars then when its all put together I put grangers g wax on it so there isn,t much finishing to do other than burnishing the edge of the leather then wax those simple as that you can use un dyed veg tan but why bother to dye the leather when you can buy it all done with all the finishing mainly done

Hi all I have just been asked to make some custom braces for some one hears the dilemer I have never done anything like this at all I normaly make dog collars ,sheaths and pouchs and the leather I use is bridle leather 3mm for my collars and veg tan for my sheaths and what not so would this be too thick as they are the sort what button on to jeens if any of you guys have made some all advice will be taken on board all so if you have any pics could you put a pic up so I can have a good look I am 31 and don't wher e anything of the sort many thank kev

Its only 2 1/2" on the top and 1 1/2" at the front it looks a lot bigger in the pics I hunt with this dog so it will protect her neck as for restrickting air flow its not that tight as long as you can get a couple of fingers under it she will be fine I had a 3" collar on her the other week but she got atacked by a pit x and tore the collar its realy a good job she had it on or she may not have been hear

hi all hear is a dog collar i have made its from british brile leather its all hand sewn the collar its self is 1 1/2" wide in london tan hears the belt made from british brile leather hand sewn has a brass buckle and leather keeper

Round the hole is where I skived buddy I am using the wrong size with the looks of things I got a set off ebay Tree reaper the msg you sent me I deleated by mestake pal and only saw it as I pressed de leat so could you send me a pm mate

Looks good buddy that's on my to do list I need a good hand made one for my guitatar

The straps are a lot short now lads I tuk the pic early on the dog is big and I left a little room if I needed to ad more holes I didn't so they got shortand
