Machines weighs around 24 lbs. But i would want to box it up well board on the bottom to help stabilize and protect it etc so it would come out more than that for sure. Left to right it is 7 inches. Front to back 10.5 incheswithout the wheel on it. With the wheel its more in the range of 16 inches. The wheel is on with a set screw and key I could remove to ship. With the Wheel on its sits 16.5 inches high. I can look into shipping to canada I just dont know if that makes it cost prohibitive and if there is any customs issues? But happy to talk to you about it. Feel free to send me a message on the forums if you want Ross

Another knife and sheath
Rossr replied to Rossr's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Gary, That is a good tip and something I have done many times! In this case....I was following the outside stitch up on the sewing machine and bent in some...saw it happen....still learning sewing machines....for sure a learning curve. In regards to the inlay yes its lined. The black you see on the tip I stitched that on and then folded it over and glued it in place before I stitched it all together. Picked that up on a you tube video. Lots of room for improvement but Appreciate the kind words Ross -
Another knife and sheath
Rossr replied to Rossr's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Yin in this case i just did it to clip to a belt loop, back pack etc. Its such a large knife at 7.5 inches blade length and it is made to be a camp chopper. I toyed with doing a belt loop and the clip but just went clip. This is for a knife trade I am doing with some other knife makers. Basically you see who wants to be part of it. You make parameters in this case camp knife chopper, 7 inch blade minimum, handle had to be not bought but scavenged up. Then at random it gets picked who you send yours too and who you get one from. So everyone ends up with a knife from a custom maker. Fun stuff! Who knows maybe I should have went belt loop but I always like to try new stuff when I do one of these. -
I tried my hand at some inlay on this sheath. Learned a lot. Made the knife too, forged out of an old coil spring. Wood is plum wood.

Thought you folks would like to see these. I found these buried in the back of a drawer. No markings on them and clearly old. I cleaned them up due to surface rust which is why they look shiny. Obviously old though and I assume hand done. Again Pointed tips on the hammer end!

For anyone interested I ordered a few punches from Campbell Randall today. The shank measurements and length measure out the same. I will update once I get them but it appears they fit this machine. Ross

emailed them today and completed a transaction on the phone to buy some punches. So open as far as I know! Ross

Yes the in the one picture on the side you can see a screw(first set of pictures under the strap on the right picture) That screw is what holds the punch in, here is a picture The tube at the top is around 8mm diameter . Weaver sells other sizes but I do not know if they punches they have will fit as it doesnt list sizes other than the hole punch size. Randall also sells them but I also do not know the tube size. Regardless though you can switch them out. I just only have one in it is all. Just to be clear while I did test the machine I am selling it as is......I dont think there are any issues but please ask me questions I will happily respond. Thanks Ross

Updated the list. Big Thanks to Allan for some great communication packaging and shipping those to me. Still on the hunt for the ones not crossed out. Ross

Folks, I have up for sale a rotary strap punch. Looks similar to R-74 Randall has on their site. However I can not find any name on it anywhere so I do not know the brand. This is a solid machine. I tested a couple straps through it seems to punch just fine and move the strap forward. Has one punch in it measures 5.5mm or about 3/16in approximate. The picture of the strap shows the largest and smallest settings you can set it at to make the holes different distances. There are several settings in between. The jaws open wide enough to accommodate a four inch strap on the large side. Any questions please ask I will do my best to answer. Asking $1250 plus shipping. 6% Sales tax added if in PA. Machine is located in PA. Ross

Thanks Bruce. I see what you meant about some tricky spots on it getting them apart. But not to bad at all. Now I just need to mount it in the shop Ross
