Ok so it's silly but I call this knife and sheath the wizard. I forged the knife and then did my best at a face in the antler crown. Then decided to try to copy that in leather carving. Kinda has a robe hood on both so struck me as a wizard that I found hiding in the antler and leather. Anyway just thought I'd share Ross

Thanks lol. Thank u Thanks and Yes it's a rolled edge, learned it from Paul Longs videos on sheath making. When the sheath is open before sewing u lay the good side of each to each other and then stitch it down the one side of the belt loop . Then put contact cement on each and roll it over. U then skive the deer skin back from the edges glue the welt in and stitch the sheath. Well u have to stitch the belt loop first then welt etc I think it's a really nice touch and also helps retain the knife in place. Hope that makes sense. Ross

The big one is a custom order the smaller one is a gift. Made the knives and the leather work. Leather is wicket and Craig skirting leather dyed. And the red lining on the smaller is deer skin. Just some simple basket weave and plain om the big one. Just thought I'd share. Ross

Ok saw this post and checked it out and took 2 days in my spare time to put one together. I don't do much sheridan carving style so be gentle. I mailed it.off to makers leathwr supply.for the heck of it.

Nice looking build along and I am sure you will love the extra space. I keep meaning to make some new prettier stamp holders and general hand tool holders but my impatience hasn't allowed me to yet! For some reason I am fascinated with the brass head mallet with the wooden handle, Did you make that? I have a zillion things that could be used to hit a center punch but that is just pretty...do tell more about it please Best Ross

Foot pedal eyeletting machine seems to work. Needs cleaned up is all. I think it's neat but really have no use for it. $100
