Trying To Date This Jc Higgins Saddle
LilStarr commented on trikerd1952's blog entry in trikerd1952's Blog
I did a search online and found this I know it is not much but what i found so far! Pam higgins stopped making saddles for sears in 1935 after that they were made by the bona allen saddle company under the J.C. Higgins brand untill 1968 when they were bought out by tandy leather corporation. -
Beautiful work, do you mind if i ask a question I have a riding club that wants me to make them some High Point halters like that got any suggestions on style? Thanks in advance! Pam

Hello all I have been doing leather work on saddles and tack for over 20 years but have been out of it for the past 4 years as I had neck surgery which put a damper on my tooling and working! But I am slowly getting back to it with 4 saddles and 5 bridles in my living room to work on! I guess I am a glutton for punishment! It is very nice to meet you all and look forward to visiting with you all! I attached a show bridle I made several years ago would love to hear that you all think of it!! Thanks Pam Brambley Yoakum Texas S & P Tack
