Having the same issue. I have some big picture stuff, but missing little things. Others have little things without having a big picture.

Get anything good? I got some of the buckles with swarski crystals in it for only $5. Remember when they were $60?

Got belt supplies for a request, and attempted a watch for the spouse. The watch didn't work out, but now I have more ideas and pieces to use as a template. Also got my first craft aid and a new dye (that's NOT brown!!).

Talked someone into buying some crappy thing from the Outlet site. Either way, I asked for something that came with an 8x10 piece of leather and they bought me 3. :D So 24inx30in of nice plain veg tan to play with. I've got one sheet planned already with small projects that should keep me busy (since most of my time will go to school anyway) and then... tons of possibilities for the other two sheets.

LN, yea, I was looking at those, though also at the Set & Forgets. Was also browsing through the pendulums, but I'll save that for some other time.

What are you having trouble with? If you have instruction just make sure to look at the photos real close and do exactly like the photo shows.

Been looking at the pictures in The Leather Craft Handbook as well as watching the Tandy video on YouTube. I'd swear I'm following directions, but I'm obviously missing SOMETHING as all I get is a big knot or something.

Go to KINGSMERE CRAFTS and scroll down to page 36 for the Single-loop Stitch, page 96 for double or page 97 for Triple-loop lacing. Lot of other things to learn there as well…. Just relax and take your time, - I know you can do it. Then just practice, practice, practice. It is awkward at first, but once you get it you will feel much better about your accomplishments.

Perhaps you can find a left-handed customer?

It's recipient is a righty, but they said they don't mind. I think I might still fix it before hand, though.

Yeah seriously. Had a friend that used to do granite work and gave me 3 sections of granite that are huge. I have more than I will ever use in 2 lifetimes.
