  1. I considered making one designed to lay on its side with the jaw being on the side. Then a small bar style clamp to clamp it to a desk/ table in a hotel, but all small enough to pack in the suitcase.
  2. I bought a 6 pack of round ones tonight at lowes. About the diameter of a quarter. Seem fairly strong.
  3. Has anyone every made a portable stitching pony? With my job I spend 1-3 nights a week at a hotel and I was considering building a sitching pony I could stash in my suitcase to take with me. Then I could work on cutting, tooling, etc at home, and then I could stitch in the comfort of a hotel room. If anyone has something that might suit this, please share a pattern with me. I have an idea, but I'm always willing to take in new info.
  4. Finished sleeve for ipod. Also made a swivel knife holster. I took both of these after finishing, covered with boot polish for a final finish.
  5. Someone on here uses harbor freight magnets.
  6. I'm new around and just starting with leather work. I've got a couple of projects. My first project was a iphone wallet/ card holder. Then my daughter wanted a case for her ipod. I've been carrying mine for about a week and should finish hers tomorrow. These are my first free design products. I learned a lot in the process and look forward to making more improvements on future items! No laughing, everyone has to start somewhere!
  7. That is great! I'm not a fan of black leather, but excellent contrast with the green
  8. Neat ipad case is on my list of things to make
  9. The googles are neat, but different! On the wallet, what are you saying is stitched wrong? Is it the stitching on the front 2 pockets?
  10. I was told to use a dremel tool with a small drill bit to drill your holes first. You can get a pack with about 20 bits at harbor freight for pretty cheap.
