  3. hi everyone, i recently purchased a couple of norse style throwing hawks, from a little company called thrower-joe, he imports all types of hawks and throwing knives from the usa ,and being a fan of these sports i thought i would put a leathercraft twist to the ones i bought and use them for display purposes. although im quite happy with this first attempt im wondering if anyone has any advise on how to make them look a bit more authentic, i have seen ones that use strips of leather for the latice but im unsure of what to use, any advice greatfully recieved ;-)

  6. hi everyone, i bought the tandy moccasin kit a while back but i seem to have mislaid the assembly sheet for the inca style moccasin, does anyone have a copy they could post up here or email to me. i have the patterns but cant for the life of me figure out how the pieces go together properly. thanks ;-)
  7. hi, the only thing i can think of is to dampen it and then bake it, put it in the oven on a very low heat and check every ten mins. hope this helps ;-)
  8. this week i learned that buying leather and making bags for the ladies in my family for christmas was a poor choice when i have a craft show to attend next week, i now have zero leather and zero stock a good thing i learned was that you can get away with using old skiving blades in the industrial knife from tandy, i also learned that they wobble abit and will slice through the end of a thumb like hot butter
