  1. Very good looking pieces! I really like this type of staining, rustic as you say. Good looking stitches too. The wallet look very proffesional. I like the type of journal cover you made. I've done two covers, both of the this type because I can take out the book of it if needed. So what'cha got in there? English---> Swedish lexicon;-) Tom
  2. Yeah and I mean it, Happy birthday dude! This one's for you, aint she sooo sweet...... Tom
  3. Oh yeah, finally all those punched holes I've been saving can come to use..well not the holess but the punced out leather pieces Tom
  4. Pull it through a hole punch in someway??? Maybe it is not sharp enough for that but maybe there's way to sharpen those?? Just a thought that struck me! Tom
  5. I see Tina! Let me know if you need parts for it. I'll take care off it. Tom
  6. Hey I see you have a spindelpress. Have you tried to set eyelets with it? I see people complainig here about the manual setter for eyelets and I'm having probs too but never hear anything about anyone using the spindlepress to set eyelets. According to my supplier it wall make perfect eyelet settings with out the cracks and uglyness the manual setter causes. Don't feel like bying one for this purpose only and come out still unsatisfied with results. Tom
  7. I make no excuses about meself or my way of life. This is my room/workshop!!! The rest of my home can be quite a mess too. Normally the desktop areas and the floor isnot this much cluttered but I'm on my third or forth project over last week so.. My working desktop was not cluttered this morning, today was lot of stitching, punching lacing holes, tooling, measuring, checking with patterns, cutting material, touch ups, colouring etc so I did manage to pull out a lot of stuff over it. At midday I was standing in my morning dress (morningrobe??) outside in the rain putting down the makers mark to the bottom of the box I'm doing, lol. I go out with it because it's so noisy and I suffer from tinnitus. Luckily no neighbours passed by. Me and my girlfriend was just discussing this five minutes ago. About why there are certain people who's homes often is quite messy and why we belong to that category. Tom

  13. Hello and big welcome jcart! This site IS truly awsome. We have a very openminded and sharing community so this is the best place to pick up those secrets of the trade. Everbody is really friendly and most often questions get answered. Tom

  16. Viking shoes oh yeah! They look very cool What did you use for a sole, rawwhide? I think (I think) that is quite common amongst ren-fair people here. Tom
  17. Thank you all so very much! I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the comments so I won't be taking them one by one this time. Instead I attach some photos that was not shot through a dirty mirror. For those of you not familiar with "Dimebag" Darrel, http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?p...p;GRid=10061348 Tom
  18. Hi and welcome Lisa! I just got my first bow since I nowadays have a house in the Swedish outbacks where I can dabble with it a bit without disturbing the nieghbours. Bowhunting is not allowed here and that's the main reason I never pursued it earlier on in life. X-bows is also of some interest but not legal at all so I'll stick to that regular bow. It still needs some fixing up, it's an old Bear White tail hunter, compound with wooden limbs. I'm taught with leathers the same way as you are. Looking forward to see your work. Don't be shy with questions, there are no dumb ones and if a question is ignored just poke people in the eye by bumping it. (a blank post saying *bump* and it'll reappear in the "view new posts" link wich is the best way to catch up with active topics) Tom
  19. Thanks bro! Taking the silent moment right after this post! I get 'em up in a few hours, have some other thing to take care off in between aswell (lawnmowing...yuck) Tom Dime: wherever you are you're always rembered
  20. Thanks Timbo! You got it figured, one layer only. Fun one to do, the design kinda lent itself to it. It has a similar shape to the batshape I use sometimes so when my eyes dropped on this image it was just oh-oh moment. Tom
  21. small excerpts from the blog
  22. Pog is Welch meaning sumting like brute or the wild one. The pog has no less than 13 Dean guitars and many of then are late Dimebag Darrel of Panteras design guitar. Pog is also called Dimepog sometimes. The wings are the Dean token but I changde it to Pog so now He got his wings. So let's just cut the crap and get to the pics. Those are snapped from wetforming process and I post some better ones later. I will also post a few more directly following this post from the making of it. Enjoy or critisize!! Tom
  23. I like the look of it. Clean and crisp design and there space left for putting information texts too. The font for your logo looks great! Tom
  24. Wow Troy!! Definetly that factor. It looks awesome. Did you make a wooden plug or what? to mold it over. Many good lucks with the stitching! Tom
