  7. Has anyone tried redying a stingray skin to a different color? I got a great deal on some real large maroon skins and would much rather have them black.

  9. Same here Tim, love it, cant really understand why if someone had no problem paying the original price when they paid it would get "miffed" cuz you put it on sale. Cant understand a moderator having an issue with you giving a price break to forum members on fathers day either, but theres alot I cant understand these days. Just wanted to say great product, and well worth the price. Rick
  10. Thanks Tina, I tried looking at it from both sides and still come to the conclusion that even if they were lost, I supplied proof that I attempted to return them, something I wouldnt have had to do if I would have been sent a finished product in the first place, really regret it too, cuz this guy makes some unique stamps, some Ive never seen before, in particular was a stamp that simulated a Diamond Plate, I get asked all the time by people where I got that stamp, and now kinda hesitant to even say, because even if its being spiteful I really dont want to be sending him any business.
  11. Just looking for some opinions on a situation I recently experienced, I purchased a couple of Tri Weave Stamps from a toolmaker recently, that I found on this forum. These werent my first purchase, and was happy with everything Id purchased previously. The tri weaves arrived and they were unfinished, The center had just a dimple but hadnt been dished out. I sent pictures of the stamps to the maker, and was told to send them back and he'd finish them. I sent them back, didnt insure them, my fault, but had delivery confirmation, Post office showed them delivered to his house in Texas but was told by him "Sorry they never arrived". Ive had enough mishaps with usps to know that maybe they didnt arrive and the carrier went ahead and entered the info that they did. Or maybe he delivered them to the wrong address. Whatever the case, it just seems to me, If I was the tool maker and a return customer had to send something back because of my error, and that customer supplied me with the delivery confirmation number showing he had sent them, Just seems Id want to make it right, or at least try to come up with some soliution other than just emailing the customer "Sorry, never got em . Ive wrote this off as a loss, for me 2 unfinished stamps, for him a customer who more than likely would have come back again and again, just curious to hear from some others. Rick

  15. Does anyone know of a supplier for westan water buffalo, I had gotten some from Waterhouse Leather and they no longer offer it. This was a favorite for some of my customers for motorcycle saddlebags.
  16. Same here Id be interested, but pretty sure the cost & shipping would make it pretty pricey? But would be interested in hearing.

    Double Butts

Ive gotten some nice ones from Zack Whites http://zackwhite.com...cat=1107&page=1 http://zackwhite.com/xcart/product.php?productid=20463&cat=1107&page=1
  18. Just for what its worth, Ive dealt with Andreas a number of times, and he's always treated me great. In fact,, after seeing the interest they have in dogs I mentioned to him that I make alot of dog collars as donations to be auctioned to help out a pit bull rescue and time and time again they have donated conchos and buckles to the cause and shipped them to me totally free. And as far as their site, everytime I go everything is in English as long as you click on the American flag/ upper right. And for the products themselves, I find the quality to be awesome, and way more unique then the same old cookie cutter stuff everyone has been selling for decades. Im just sayin.
  19. Any suggestions on who has the best prices on Pull The Dots?
  20. Ive heard time and again of people dying leather with used coffee grounds, can anyone give me a little more details on the process? Like the preperation of the mix, is it just water and grounds? What about mold? Seems like there would have to be some kind of an after bath or something.
  21. What I do on solo seats is i trace the pan, then add 3/8" all the way around the tracing and thats the size for both my top and bottom leathers with 3/4" foam. I do mexican round braid around my seats to stitch you may need to enlarge it a little.
  22. Thanks Bro, I know what you mean, I get as many requests now for Indian Larry Memorial pieces as I did the month after the accident Cant wait to see the belt.
