  1. Very nice work. You did a good job. Show us pictures when you are done. You must get your talent from your Mom.
  2. Thanx but you go for it. You won't be infringing on my piece. Go for it Bro. I look forward to what you come up with. Attached are some coasters I did for a bass fisherwoman I know. Sometimes I like to use a sharp conical tip and work it like pen and ink. Then I might even add layers of acrylic wash. It is only limited to your imagination. So let your imagination run wild. Two things...have fun and secondly don't burn yourself. HA!
  3. Combination figure carving and pyrography.
  4. This is very nice. Beautiful form and color. Nothing like a solid clean piece of gun leather. Storm
  5. These look very nice and I love the hard soles They should give a lot of good wear. Storm
  6. Beautiful work! It has an antique quality to it. Something from days gone by. Красивые работы! Это старинное качеству к нему. Что-то из дней прошло. Thanx, Storm
  7. Very nice one. I like what you did with the interior and also the overall look. Day of the Dead lives on! Sptorm
  8. Technically it is Big Papa but my card is finished and I also need to mail it. Very cool piece! Storm

    2Nd Mirror

Wonderful piece! I love the free form feel between the hair on hide and the leather. Storm
  10. Really like both of these! Love the lacing on the clutch purse but also like the carving with the little cowboy and the florals. Nice depth and definition. Storm
  11. That is tricked out! Awesome seat! Storm
  12. As always, a great piece of leather carving. You should show us some photographs inside your shop. I cannot wait to see what you will create next. Как всегда, большой кусок кожи резьбы. Вы должны показать нам несколько фотографий в вашем магазине. Я не могу ждать, чтобы посмотреть, что будет создан следующий. Thanks, Storm
  13. Found a cool site and you do not have to pay to join. The have blueprints and drawing and photos of a variety of things. WWII airplanes, old German Submarines and more. http://www.the-blueprints.com Check it out. Attached a copy of a WWII Sherman Tank.
  14. Well as you hardly look old enough to have a daughter on the down side of 30 we will leave it at"S". HA! As to my languages... That is a secret too. We all have our little secrets. As many languages as it can get me in trouble with I suppose. However I am best at English so you must forgive my imperfections! Storm
  15. Check with Tandy or take the piece into the shop. But it appears as though they laid down a base color and then theyused an airbrush to slightly darken the edges. Also keep in mind that not all leathers dye in the same manner. I have even seen color variations in the same side of leather. For an All-In-One maybe like a Desert Tan or Prairie Tan. Hope that helps, Storm
  16. Question for ya! When you say finish are you meaning to say dye or antique? It looks as though you placed a sealer like Super Shene or Neatlac as a protective coating over the natural leather. I sometimes do the same thing. For myself, I prefer using Satin Shene or even Dr. Jackson's Water Protector. Storm
  17. Jannicke, Welcome and glad to see another person trying their hand at leather. Give it a few months and we will all be learning something from you. Don't discount your talent. But also remember that you have a great teacher right there with you. Välkommen och glad över att se en annan person försöka sig på läder. Ge det några månader och vi kommer alla att lära sig något från dig. Gör rabatt inte din talang. Men också ihåg att du har en bra lärare där med dig. Tack, Storm
  18. That's a real beauty man!!! I really love the carving! Storm
  19. If you ever have any problems with something on your MAC send me a PM. I have been using them since they first came out and glad to hep if I can. Storm
  20. Tina it seems that the apple does not fall too far fom the tree. How old is your daughter? That is some very nice carving. Storm
  21. Very nice work for someone just starting out. Tim has a point though. If you are using Photoshop try going into Image and reduce the size of the photos. Your pixels should be fine as you are uploading JPEGs and they are automatically 72dpi. Can't wait to see more. Welcome on board and lots of luck. Storm
  22. Morning John, Glad I could help. But if you are looking for a good reason to go out and buy a large bottle of Jack this weekend just think about the weather or better yet the economy! HA!I know...do you ever need a reason to go out and buy a bottle of JD? But it is just like human antifreeze. All kidding aside... you might also want to look at some modeling tools if you don't have any. Give a glance through the book and see what you may need to add to your arsenal. By the way do you go to the Chelmsford, MA shop or the one in Hartford? Drive careful and do'nt hit any snow banks or patches of black ice. Storm
