  1. Basically an experiment to see if a no hardware bag is feasible. I used 6-7 oz veg tan, hand stitched and hand dyed ( with Fiebing's pro oil ). The pattern available at https://leatherhubpatterns.com and you can see its making here
  2. Looks great! I needed one that grips the table and pivots on two axis because I film what I make and a sit on pony wasn't helpful anymore.
  3. Quick and dirt cheap stitching pony we made as a diversion from working with leather only. It's made of a plank of pine wood from the local hardware store, three screws with nuts and a couple of wood screws. Took about an hour to build but it does its job well. A video of making it here . Pattern available here
  4. I unfortunately don't have access to a rifle. Also I suspect that he sizes differ between individual versions.
  5. Thank you most kindly! I'm already working on it and will post it here when it's done.
  6. A very nice person asked me to help him with a Dopp bag pattern and this came out. It might be a simple design but I had it with me in my last trip and everything I needed went in without having to leave anything out so it is a very practical item. Also Happy new year!
  7. Happy new year! I was thinking about making one myself. I’ll get to it and let you know when it’s done
  8. So a friend asked me to make him the smallest possible wallet I could think of. There is a video of making it here
  9. We were curious how a flat cap made without using a sewing machine would look like so we went ahead and did it. It was a quite satisfying project and brought a nice end to the endeavor. For more info and the pattern follow this link https://www.etsy.com/listing/748900008/
  10. Hello! So I wanted to make a Santa hat and thought about making a cone of sorts, but since leather isn't as bendy as fabric I ended up giving it this shape. It's been a nice fun little project and perhaps the last for me this year. Here's a video of making it and I wish you all Happy holidays!
  11. Hello everyone! This is one of my works, a backpack I made for my daily commute. It was made out of veg tan leather and it has 2 compartments. I used two buckles for the strap and the closing part and a zipper for the larger compartment. It took about half a square meter of leather to make and about two days. The pattern for it can be found here
  12. I made this for my mother and she wanted a big bag so I had to comply. It's made of veg tan and pull up leather. There's also a pattern for it if you want to check it out by following the link in my signature. Cheers!
  13. A simple bag I made after I got some really nice pull up leather from a local shop. It measures about 260 x 260 x 55 mm and it has two compartments. I made this to suit my own minimalist style but perhaps it might appeal to someone else. The pattern can be found here.
  14. You can follow this guy's method. He sticks the paper printed with the pattern on top of cardboard and then cuts along the lines. After that he punches the holes and he uses a silver pen to mark the leather. Acrylic will fill up more space because you don't want to risk placing it leaning against a wall or it might fall an break and is a lot more expensive.
  15. The question is mostly in the title but I'd add that I had needed some leather stuff for myself and started making the patterns for them. Afterwards I thought they may be useful to others as well so I decided to make them available in digital format and sell them. I'm mostly done with my needs but having caught a taste for this business I'm now searching for ideas of what to design next.
  16. Thank you! The shoulder strap is optional and it is not included in the pattern. The bag I made for myself and I don't carry it on my shoulder as the laptop is too heavy and I find it uncomfortable. Thank you! Perhaps next time
