  1. Thanks guys. Darren you really simplified it. Very helpful. Steve I know what you mean, sometimes I just get overwhelmed with too much information and have to just make a choice and move on.
  2. I haven't posted much on this forum but I've learned a lot from the people here. I'm considering purchasing my first leather sewing machine. I'm considering either a PFAFF 335 or a Cobra 4. I do mainly small leather goods like wallets, watch bands and some bags. Does anyone have an opinion for which would be the better choice for what I do? I'm in southern California so I know that there is a dealer nearby for each of these machines which may be helpful if there are any issues after purchase. Thanks for any comments or advice. Chuck
  3. Charlie When stitching material such as lizard or ostrich leg on watch straps I find the texture distorts the straight line of the stitching. Do you have any technics to get a consistent stitch on heavy textured materials like this? Chuck
  4. One thing to be aware of with the Glowforge laser is that it requires both WiFi and an Internet connection to run. Your computer file goes up to the cloud and then back down to your machine. So unlike a more expensive machines where the software is installed locally, if your internet connection goes down you will need to wait for it to be restored before you can continue to work.
