Sounds like the safety clutch kicked out,there's 2 buttons on the bed,push on the one on the right ,turn your handwheel backwards until the button pushes down alittle more into a notch,then turn the handwheel backwards until you hear a click from underneath indicating it's reset.The machine should sew now.

69=44 yd,92=34 yd,138=23 yd,we don;t stock 207's so IDK how many yards they have.

What do you need for it?We stock alot of parts for this model.But your right there are a few parts that are NLA.

Matt You do what you want BUT it's going to be a job getting the old shaft out.You can adjust the stitch length by turning the screw with the point on the end. A lot of times people don't need to change the length much once they get it set up.

I really doubt you'll find anything.The best thing to do is turn the machine by hand so the needlebar is all the way down,then turn the handwheel towards you until the needlebar rises approx 3/32" then turn the cam so the point of the shuttle is at the needle,tighten the screws on the cam, thread the machine & see if it sews & if the foot walks like it should if it does your very lucky (LOL) Then you can drill the hole for the taper pin.

@AlainaZHave you checked to make sure your safety clutch isn't kicked out?Always check it b4 re-timing your hook.Be sure the A & B marks line up.

Take the end cap off & remove the 2) screws one @ 3:00 & one @ 9:00 & it should just slide out.

My guess is there's a spring missing in the stitch length,open the top oval plate,then push the needlebar front to back & see if you see movement there.There's a screw(#200607) w/a larger head on it maybe 1/4" & it is supposed to have a spring(#202295) under it. Singer 153W101-1 stitch length.pdf

If you need a spring we have them in stock.

@BirdpathThis screw is the standard attachment screw #286S 9/64"x40 tpi if you can't find ant we stock them.

This motor has sealed bearings,there (might) be an oil hole in the center of the casting to the left of the pulley to lube the bearing for the clutch.

I have some 214x1#19 in stock,since this needle is longer & the machine was designed for heavier leather you won't find a leather point smaller then #22.You might not want to hear this but a smaller machine like a Singer 111w,Consew 225,226R,Juki 562,563 would wotk alot better & mark less than the 132 & you can get leather needles down to size#14.

Sounds to me like you've missed a spot when you oil?Re-oil everything you can esp on the arm.

@john27 Are you sure it's hitting the foot or is it the feed dog?

@cadet4x4Yrs ago we used to put the reverse & highlift on these.We have the needles,bobbins & thread in stock.You'll need to let us know the current needle length.The bobbins should measure 3/4"x3/4".

@TomEGrease will never work into the inside shaft of the roller so only use oil,see attached file for a manual that should work for this motor.Servo motor directions.pdf

Most people we sell thread to use nylon for patches.

Go to page #26,loosen the screws #42 & turn cam #41 (walking foot cam)to adjust.You access it from the backside of the machine.

See the thin piece of metal on the bottom leftside of the pic(underneath the point of the hook? Bend it towards the needle,this is call hook guard & is bendable(adjustable) the stop the needle from hitting the point of the hook,once in a while if it's hitting too hard you might need to loosen the 2 screws underneath the hold the whole assembly in place & move to the right & then you'll have to move the big over to match it.Try bending the guard first since it's easier.

Take the old one off,get a foot pedal & fasten to lower parts of legs and you'll need a longer chain to connect from the head to the pedal.

Many years ago I thought I knew it all & was working on a neighbors treadle machine & the more oil I gave it the tighter it got until it wouldn't turn,I took the head out of the cabinet took it to work the next day & told the seasoned mechanic what happened & he broke out in laughter.After what seemed like 5 minutes he told me they've been using 3 in 1 & the new oil caused it to jam from the wax.There were some parts on the machine(underneath) that even had some waxing icicles almost 1/4" hanging off of it.So he told me to take some kerosene & re-oil the main bearings & it should free up,that did the trick & sure made my neighbor happy when I took it back.

Try oiling the pin in the tab.To open the bobbincase put your thumbnail underneath the front triangle piece of the bobbincase & it will pop the tab up.These machines used a 128x42 from the factory BUT they have been discontinued so you can use the 128x4 we have in stock in sizes #14,16,18,20,22.You should be able to use up to #138 thread in it.

You can use sizes #46,69,92 & #138 #46 is the smallest.

It will use #69 & #92 thread & was made for leather coats & other light leather sewing.Should use the leather point 135x16 needle
