  1. I love that knife. I’ve never seen a half round one. Nice job on the cover.
  2. Impressive work. I can’t find one thing to complain about other than they aren’t mine. Seriously, I’m inspired.
  3. Thank you. Why in the world would you be crucified for the holster? Where did you post it?
  4. Thank you. The auction is at the Mineola Civic Center in Mineola Texas. It won’t have an online presence. Thank you and I hope you’re right.
  5. I like those. I like those a lot.
  6. I’m looking forward to donating these tomorrow for a silent auction. I just hope they go for more than 5 dollars a piece or something crazy like that. Maybe it’s best I just don’t keep track of what’s happening with them. The description reads; We The People leather bag - 100 % handcrafted (saddle stitched) by a Wood County resident using Sepici (Italian) and Horween USA) leathers. Includes an interior floating pocket that will accommodate most tablets. Interior and exterior pockets that will accommodate most cell phones, pens, pencils and writing tablets. Includes a zipper and a magnetic closure. Shoulder strap is long enough to be worn cross body.
  7. That looks nice. I'm still afraid of my machine.
  8. I think it’s great that you are making your own maul. It looks nicer than the one I use. Very impressed, Thanks for sharing that.
  9. Thank you! I think it is going to hold up well. As long as I keep the straps attached where they should be!! The bag and strap are made from 5-6 oz Horween Essex Light Brown and Havanna Brown. The face is 3-4 oz Sepici veg tan scraps. The eyes were tooled from 7-8 oz veg tan. I want to try another set of eyes. They are the challenging things about the bag.
  10. The pattern I made for the boxer bag is attached. I hope you enjoy making it. And I hope you share pictures of the finished product!! BoxerMel_BoxerHead4Bag.pdf
  11. That’s very nice looking and I agree on the red letters.
  12. Who, Who, Who said that? Thank you!
  13. Thank you! It’s made from a pattern. The basic bag pattern is from dieselpunkro and then I retrofitted it with a pattern I came up with. I would be happy to share the boxer part of the pattern with you but you would need to purchase the bag pattern. I can share that link with you if you are interested.
  14. It was a good project for me to gain confidence with my Cobra 26 sewing machine. I’ve been a big chicken about using it for a project.
  15. Well, now, that is a very good question. I think I should adjust that before he gets away from me. Thanks for that eagle eye of yours!
  16. Meet my new friend, Franklin.
  17. I think that’s a real nice design and execution of it. Thanks for sharing.
  18. That’s very nice and I must second what Dwight said. I’m not brave enough, yet, to tackle a project like that. I still need a pattern that can be forgiving with my many mistakes! Thanks for sharing your nice work.
  19. Those are all very nice pieces. Did you use a pattern? That looks like it would be a perfect gift for a chess lover. A bag to hold them with next, perhaps?
  20. We are in the Piney Woods of East Texas. It’s not on any maps. My brother used to call me a Moon Bug because he said I was a Lunar Tick.
  21. Thank you. I appreciate you saying that. It was a bit daunting for me but as I was working it, I also found it building my confidence. It was a good practice piece for sure.
  22. Thank you for the nice compliment!
