I use a flashlight and leatherman a lot on my job and didn't want to wear 3 different holsters, so I came up with this instead. Took a lot of time to figure out and build. Being my first one, I messed up on the stitching but thankfully it's mine not a customer.

I've got several people wanting a 2 sided cell phone case with pockets for credit cards, etc. Is there a place to find the snap in case for the cell phones? I'm thinking gluing in the snap in case with Barge cement. Ideas?

Finished a few more cell phone cases for my brother and sister in law. If someone has a standard phone, I phone, Samsung, Blackberry, I have been able to get dimensions off the internet. Then I make a hardwood template, a little oversize, to allow for shrinkage. Track Phone and flip phones are a crap shoot, although I made one for my wife's flip phone, and see seems happy.

Ok first this is actually the second case that I have made this is made for a Samsung Galxay S5 that already is in a case (water proof and supposably able to take a 10 meter fall) but there are two reasons I made this, first was to see if I could, second I keep everything in my front pocket, that includes wallet and now this phone, if I had to answer the phone I had to be careful about pulling it out of my pocket as I have pulled my wallet out as well so thought I would make this case so it clips to my belt. The first case I royally screwed up on so that went into the trash, did learn a lot from that so its not a total waste. This is the only third time that I have ever done a saddle stich, went with the saddle stich as I thought this was the strongest stitch. So Three questions, First and most important question is that as this will be on my belt it will be going out side so which is better to use as a water resist either Fiebing's Aussie Leather conditioner or Tandy's Super shien? ( Have both of these)? I am not worried about the color going darker as its black with brown edging (which is really had to see the diffrents must choose a better edge color lol). Second Question Is the saddle stich a strong enough stitch or is there a better one for something like this? Third Question what do you all think about it and where might I improve on it?

Here are some of the things I have been tinkering with...a cell phone case I designed (it is pretty simple and I used ideas from patterns I've seen) and a 4 slot bifold wallet I found on here.

Well, here is my version of a cell phone wallet that I saw elsewhere... I have not made many wallets. I plan to make more soon, and really like this oiled tan leather. It is stiff enough to hold it's shape, but soft enough that it feels excellent to the touch. What do you think? What would you change?
