My wife and I have a leather bag making business (well, I should say "had"). We ran our handmade leather and waxed canvas bag business for 6 years and we were super successful and had a wonderful time doing it. It got too big for us to continue at the rate that we were and also keep our full time careers. We either had to go all in and quit our careers with health insurance, job security and 401k's or become full time bag makers. I know we made the right choice, at 50 years old, to continue with our careers. If we had done this in our 20's or 30's we would have risked it all and continued to pour our hearts and souls into our business. So, we are selling ALL our tools, materials, equipment and stuff. We would love to see it all go to other makers and creators. leatherandcanvasbusinessforsale.com

From my shop that closed in 2015. Good sharp Weaver-made clicker dies. Billets shown with ruler for size. The regular and crossdraw holsters are Meanea patterns and make the final product pictured. The holster dies are for 7 1/2" Colts and clones and the pattern can be shortened to fit shorter guns. Pictures are of 7 1/2" and 5 1/2" holsters Sorry I didn't have better images. Prefer to sell as a lot for total $450. PM me for additional info. Shipping at cost.

I did a blog post review of Texas Leather Dies. I won't recreate it here, but the condensed version is --they are amazing. Ten outta ten! If you'd like the details, check it out on my website at https://www.BruceGibsonDesign.com If you're in the market for clicker dies, mallet dies, etc., I highly recommend these folks. They are also Leatherworker.net supporters. Awesome all-around!

I'm looking for a manual kind of hand clicker die I can either design or buy in the UK. It's for a small item - maybe 1" - 1.5" or so by ¾" with a slotted hole and a round hole in it. Ideally I just need something simple where I can lay out a piece of leather and bash a few out at a time. Any ideas where I can get hold of such a thing in the UK... I'm at a bit of a loss to know where to look. Thanks

Shoemakers in Connecticut here, inquiring about clicker dies. We just purchased a USMC Model "C" clicker press and are eager to work it into our shoemaking process. Has anyone here had experience making clicker dies? Ordering clicker dies? I was looking at Swanson in New Hampshire as a possible die maker ... Is one die better than another? Is one die maker better/cheaper than another? Should I keep using shears until I can't keep up with my orders? Seriously though, I would love to hear anyone's experiences with clicker dies. Thanks.

I'm looking for suggestions from some of the European members here om LW. I'm looking to have some clicking dies made (my very first) and I'm looking for some good (foremost) and hopefully fairly prices dies from a European or UK maker. Normally I wouldn't mind buying from the US, where I've heard of some good makers (including Texas Custom Dies), but the exchange rate is terrible, so I'm looking for someone closer to home. I have a maker on hand, where I live, but I would like to get some quotes from different manufacturers, as I'm about to place a very substantial order.

I want to take this opportunity to say something about the dies that Texas Custom Dies make and sell. I have several of there dies and are very happy with them. They are accurate, sharp and strong! I have one of there dies that has made thousands of clicks (I sell this product 500 at a time) and is still very sharp and clicks a perfect item. If you have a need for a clicker die, they are a fine company and you will not go wrong with them. -- Tex

Hi all!!! I'm looking for anywhere that I can buy clicker-cut pieces for tack. Tried cutting out my own by hand with a knife and am incredibly frustrated trying to get them exactly the same along the edges. Really want to put together my own tack since I can't afford to buy what I like, but I can put it together myself if I can just get nice pieces, can't afford a clicker and dies right now . Thanks!!!
