Had a few pieces of equipment in storage hoping to open shop again but we're moving out of state and it's easier to sell than take with. These Kwikprint 86 and Kwikprint 64 Pneumatic heat presses are in good shape and ready for use. Model 86 ($975) is missing the wooden handle covering the brass letter set adjuster piece, but we just used a spanner to grab and move. Inexpensive fix or use as-is. Model 64 ($1,500) is pneumatic operated. Just connect to your air compressor and control pressure and time under compression with the control valves. Great piece of equipment for large bags or high volume embossing. Located in Dallas, TX. Will not ship. Also selling, Cobra NP-4 and Cobra NP-10 skivers, Consew 206-RB sewing machine

I'm shopping around atm... seeking recommendations for places to buy a full alphabet font set for use in my kwikprint machine. It's fairly significant investment and want to do my due diligence. Appreciate recommendations from suppliers based in Australia or overseas. Cheers, George

Hi, I'm new to this forum & looking for advice / recommendations re: machines to blind emboss leather products. I'm launching an online business specializing in personalized leather items for baby & children. I won't be using foil as it's unsafe for baby chewing etc. One of the products in our collection is a leather pacifier/dummy strap which i want to personalize with a blind embossing of baby's name or initials. The leather I'll be using is sourced from Germany. Veg tanned and naturally coloured with subtle textures. From all of my research it seems the best impression results will come from hot press rather than cold (esp. considering the leather I'm using) Budget is around $500 - $850 max. Kwikprint is too expensive. Used Kingsley, Howard machines maybe? Any others? I know a lot about leather but the hot stamping / embossing is new to me. Will be great to get some advice from experts. Cheers, George

Hi! Hope someone can lead me in the right direction... I work for a company and they would like to start personalizing leather luggage tags. We also carry leather wine bags, journals and a few other products that could also work. Maybe a leather tray down the road.. but overall not super huge items. To begin with we would offer single letters or monograms. I've done a little research. I found one company that is located in the UK that looks like it could do the job. The machine they sell is also a hot foil stamper. It would be nice to find a supplier in the states just in case we needed a part or further support.. What are our options? Any suppliers that someone can recommend? Anyone familiar with costs? Thanks in advance!

So I bought a pretty cool heat press off of eBay. It was advertised as a Kingsley but after talking to the seller on the phone it came out that the press is actually a Gold-Magic Robotemp 315 and it comes with 5 sets of Kingsley letters and a huge tub of foil. I won it for only $100 and I'm driving up to Maine next week to pick it up. Even though I am a bit bummed it isn't a Kingley, for $100 I am not going to hold a grudge. Here are some photos of it that came off of the listing. It doesn't come with a manual since the seller got it for free off of a gentleman that used to work for the State of Maine. The original owner used the press for fancy invitations for state functions, and the seller I bought it off of used it to monogram leather guitar straps. I'm hoping someone here knows where I can find a manual for this machine or has any insight whatsoever. Thank you -Bear

Hi there, has anyone used either the Howard M150 or the M45 on leather? I had some brass types made that I want to use to stamp some gold foil onto veg tan leather. After doing some research online (this forum is awesome truly), I found this guide to be very informative. I however cannot tell Howard's M150 apart from the M45 aside from that the M150 has a foil feed. Insights are much appreciated as always a side question, if i don't heat up those stamps, is it as good as a regular arbor press or clicker (is this just a flat press instead of a post press?), or will those hot stamp systems won't have enough force to leave a good embossing? another side question...i read about die-cutting, seems like it will increase yield quite a bit if I choose to start selling on Etsy etc. where do I get dies made and I'd have to use a clicker then? Thanks a million and happy weekend!

Alright, I'm overwhelmed by hot foiling machines, and seeking advice. I'm in the market for a hot foil machine, we've been using an arbor press, and I'm ready to add foil to our customization options, but don't know the best direction to go. I have about $700 to spend on one and am just confused. I want to be able to mount my brass tamps on the press without using the tape that I've seen people write about. Does anyone have any experience with the Kingsley presses? Would I be able to do that on this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kingsley-hot-foil-stamping-machine-model-M-50-type-and-type-holders-/282085520442 Just looking for some guidance before pulling the trigger.

Hello. I have both vegetable and chrome tanned leather. What is the best way of embossing/de bossing both using the same dies/embosser. I have limited funds so can't afford two seperate machines.

Hello all, I'm about to finalize my logo and will be purchasing a stamp or brand. I've been doing some research on my own, but thought it would be a good idea to ask for some recommendations from you fine folks. Still trying to decide between a stamp or brand. The logo will have some fine detail found in small embellishments that I want to make sure will be evident in the final stamp. I will be stamping or branding on both veg tanned and chrome tanned leathers. Just looking to collect any information you'd be willing to lend and recommendations and experiences with stamp/brand suppliers. Thanks a lot! Look forward to hearing what you guys have to say.

Hi everyone! I'm hoping someone can help me with my dilemma. I have a logo that I want to emboss on my leather bags. I've done a bunch of research and it seems like an arbor press and brass plate are the way to go in veg tanned leather, BUT i use chromium dyed leather! I'm wondering if someone can give me advice here. Will an arbor press work on this soft leather? If so, do I need a 1 ton or 2 ton? And any recommendations on what type of stamp to get- do i need a brass one? or I've seen some people who are making them out of a durable plastic now for cheap... See the attached picture for an example of what I'm looking for! Thanks a bunch everyone! I'm so glad this website exsits, I can't tell ya'll how often I come here for guidance! Erin

I've got a round bar with a threaded countersunk plate on one end made for my drill press hoping it would convert it to a dedicated embossing press but the impressions are very weak. So far I can only get it to make a okay impression on veg tan if I wet the surface. Any suggestions would be appreciated to try and get a better result from it. My housemate said drill presses don't really exert pressure, so I guess that's my issue. I've tried to put different sized bricks underneath to see if the spring will compress more but it doesn't. I wanted it to do quick stamping jobs.

Five card slot wallet made with two pieces of leather. I made this design for a Kombucha workshop I taught using dried Kombucha peticle as a naturally grown leather but used it in this photo for my housemates' music festival merchandise.© Sada Sata 2013
