Couple of wallets

Since I made myself a wallet (trucker/ biker) a couple of friends wanted me to make them one. Here they. Wicket & Craig veg tan dyed saddle tan with colonial tan tiger thread. Second is black veg tan with black tiger thread. Thoughts?

Really nice work :specool:

When I do 'stuff' , gilt/brass  & chrome/nic hardware  go together , including the snaps , but thats just me .

I would agree about matching colors. But that's what the person wanted.

Haven't so far! I did let it dry for over a week before I went back to work on it. I did put several coats of Resolene on the outside 50/50 with water. I'm hoping it doesn't rub off. Time will tell.

I did one with out sealing it years ago. Made some new work pants real quick. I also used usmc black. Didn't really know what I was doing then. Good work on those wallets.

Very nice work.  I made the mistake of using USMC Black and it ran on everything.  Learned to use lots of Resoline and have made a few more without a problem.

 

Keep up the good work.
