My son wanted a three ring to keep is proofs, and this is what I came up with. There are a couple of things I will change if I do another one, but I'm pretty happy with it.

Thanks guys. The dark brown is Horween chrome tan, the main body is a mystery side I got at the Pendelton show a few years ago and the inside is chrome tan goat.

The billet end is 7/8 veg tan, as it should hold up better than chrome.

Very nice work. I like the texture on the main body piece. And the buckle is a very classy touch. Great work!

Nice looking binder.  Did you cover an existing binder?  If not, what did you use for the stiffener?

Thanks. Did not use a stiffener. The two layers are quite stiff. I thought about some plastic cutting mats that I use when I dye, but really didn't want to use that much cement.

Looks great.

I almost expected to see scrolls of ancient sorcery formulas inside! For sure no one will be in doubt who that binder belongs to. :You_Rock_Emoticon:
