From the tandy rifle case pack. Not sure wth I'm gonna do with it when I'm finished. Had 4 different carving patterns in the pack. Still have alot of work left its back in the black trashbag casing again until I wake up.

Looking good.  Keep the pics flowing. Curious as to the other patterns that came with the pack.  I really like the one you chose.

Wow!  That turned out nice.  I may have to get one of those pattern packs.

Great Job.  I'm thinking of doing one to hang in front of the seats in the UTV to hold either a rifle or shotgun.  That way when you bail out to take a shot at either the Coyotes or Feral Dogs harassing the livestock, the firearm is Right There.  I have a handgun holster with a magnetic mount I made, but Miss T isn't as good with handguns as I am... up close, 15 to 20 yards, she's on target.  Longer shots... not so much.  Rifle or shotgun, she'll get 'er done.

Thank you. I'm carving the wife a gun belt right now. Another member is sending me some bad a$$ carving patterns due to my inability to draw. One thing I sadly will never get down.

SJ -

I ordered the pattern from Tandy early this week, and today we drove to OKC to pick up a few things directly from the "Local" (two hours away... pfft... local) Tandy store.  I grabbed the Side of Leather to make the scabbard and a western gunbelt rig, which I had also ordered the pattern for.  I have one shop project to finish and then I'll attack that scabbard.

Looks so great!

Question - how far apart did you space the straps?

I'll have to measure the pattern
