PHEW! Just in time.

I made this mini backpack for my niece. My oldest daughter saw it and said she would not mind having one lol. Well I secretly made her one while she was out at work. All was going fine until I was coming to the end of my stitching. I had stitched a panel backwards. Was not happy pulling thread late at night. The morning of the 24th  I was in the "zone" restitching my mistake, and it made it under the tree in time for Christmas morning,PHEW! The turquoise is 2-3 oz Venice Italian leather, veg 3-4 oz , Fiebings pro dye dark brown, antique brass hardware. Rhino waxed brown tread. 10 worn out finger tips!

That is beautiful! I'm not surprised that your daughter loved it. And the love her father made it with?.. I bet she loved it more.

Good job! She'll be telling people for years "my dad made it for me". My daughter still uses the first bag I made her every day.

Thanks, I appreciate your comments, I have already got an order for one since Christmas. Maybe this time I will pay more attention to the direction I'm stitching
