Thanks for the tutorial... one question - what is the beeswax for?

I used to use it for woterproofing and hardening leather. Dont do it anymore but it's fairly cheap and efective way of making leather sheath "bulletproof" It does however loose some of the features we love so much about leather.

nice work. if you don't mind me asking, how'd you get your stitching groove so wide and deep? I use a stitching groover, but even after several passes, it is still shallow and very narrow. thanks.
