Man Purse

Very nice indeed. I really like the depth in your tooling. Thanks for sharing.

Looks great! Are the rectangles on the gusset (sewn on just below the opening) there to help keep the bag open?

Yes, you are right.

Cool - that's a good idea! Is your internal back pocket sewn onto a liner, or do you have a pocket on the back? I can't tell how you hid the stitching from that pocket that would otherwise be visible on the back. You're inspiring me to try my hand at another bag... :)

Very nice but I need a bigger murse for all the crap I carry in my backpack. LOL. It's beautiful though.

There is no way in heck I would ever carry a Murse, but yours is really sharp looking.

The colors, tooling and care in stitching and manufacture really shine through.

Embrace the idea, brother... it's the next big thing in fashion, I swear to you!

Try it, once you get over your perception of social stigma, you will notice others coveting you man purse (or as my daughter calls it "Murse")

Consider some of the more famous Murses:

Must be a European Thing! Being from Southwest Georgia, we don't go in much for fashion trends, and I don't think they'll work out that well on a Bass Boat. I could be wrong, that's happened before.

Looks great though. As you see in the picture below, it would get in the way of my holding the Bass.

Very immaculate piece of leather work; did you by chance

painstakingly hammer finish and then highlight all of the panels

and strap on this bag??ohmy.gif

EDIT: And for the record, I carry a self made "murse", But I prefer to

call it a "manbag." Sounds a little more like "handbag," but with added

Barrel-Chested, Flannel-Shirt-Wearing Manliness points...

Very nice work. I dont think I will ever be carrying a man purse, but when you think about it some of the toughest men in history carried one..... mountain men and the like......only they called it a possibles bag.
