Contributing Member Ferg Posted October 4, 2012 Contributing Member Report Posted October 4, 2012 Any particular reason you didn't burnish the edges? What finish did you apply? ferg Quote

Members dragonspit Posted October 5, 2012 Members Report Posted October 5, 2012 Im jumpin on the band wagon with the questions. but that is one nice piece of leather and its so cleanly put together. likin it. Quote
Members Spinner Posted October 5, 2012 Members Report Posted October 5, 2012 Cool design, I like how you appear to have used full interior overlaps at the sides and such instead of simply sewing at the intersections, should be quite strong that way. My only negative comment would be to agree with Ferg...with such care taken in the construction and using such a nice piece of leather, to not burnish the edges leaves it feeling incomplete. Quote
Members Anti19 Posted October 5, 2012 Members Report Posted October 5, 2012 Wow! Any chance of having more pictures? I.E Interior and sides? I like the look of unburnished edges but wonder how it's going to age. Quote

Members Aghrivaine Posted January 1, 2013 Members Report Posted January 1, 2013 I've made tiny box pouches for a utility belt using what appears to be about the same pattern. Never crossed my mind to go big and turn it into a briefcase...but of course that's brilliant! Quote
Members Jimbob Posted April 28, 2013 Members Report Posted April 28, 2013 what I said....I mean what they said...brilliant too....show us more pictures....pleeeease!!! Quote
Members LeatherLegion Posted April 29, 2013 Members Report Posted April 29, 2013 For some reason, to me , the unfinished edges look good on this particular bag . . Like everybody else here i wanted to see some more pics...the back side ...interior... Quote
Members humperdingle Posted April 29, 2013 Members Report Posted April 29, 2013 My guess for the construction would be from a T shape, something like this (much rougher!) satchel I made for my wife... Quote
