alexitbe Posted February 19, 2016 Report Posted February 19, 2016 Real craftsmanship...Superb... And as someone else noted, suprised that 6 Oz (2mm) leather works so well... Thanks for posting Alex Quote
Members skalpel Posted February 23, 2016 Author Members Report Posted February 23, 2016 That is a really nice briefcase. 2-2,2mm doesn't sound like much but it looks like it holds its shape without any problems. I like that it has a news paper pocket. The stitching and edges looks flawless. The leather for the partition board is skived to the same thickness as the gusset? The accordion gusset looks nice but I guess it is only for show as there are no extra holes in the straps? Where do you get your leather from? Thank you very much for your words. Yes, I skived this leather by edges. After I took the pictures I made another two extra holes in the straps. I bought this leather by www.aacrack.co.uk Very good contact and realy fast shipment. Ps. I'm realy sorry for my English language.... :/ Quote
Boriqua Posted February 27, 2016 Report Posted February 27, 2016 just wow!!!! So how long did you work on that piece? You really dotted the i's and crossed the t's and that takes time. Flawless Quote
Members skalpel Posted February 29, 2016 Author Members Report Posted February 29, 2016 Thank you very much!I worked on that briefcase about 1 month but I work only few hours per night, because I have a full time job as a administrative worker in Hospital :D Quote
