Members Dwight Posted September 2, 2016 Members Report Posted September 2, 2016 Good job, . . . simple, but yet good looking. Good job especially on the edges. Contributing Member JLSleather Posted September 2, 2016 Contributing Member Report Posted September 2, 2016 search why-tube for "simple leather wallet" returns 28,500 results. Remove the "simple" and just search "leather wallet", and you get 5 times that many. Should be about covered Guessing that's about the same size as my little pdf file. Tell ya, though.. I DO like the way you stitched all around the project. Those little things where somebody stitched over the pockets, and then just stop, leaving the middle not stitched, always look unfinished to me. Like the maker just couldn't be bothered to stitch that last couple inches.. So in the end, I think your project looks good.. I like the size, and the color, and the stitching. But I think I'll pass on a video Quote "Observation is 9/10 of the law." IF what you do is something that ANYBODY can do, then don't be surprised when ANYBODY does.
Contributing Member Bob Blea Posted September 2, 2016 Contributing Member Report Posted September 2, 2016 I like it, especially the edges. The stitching looks nice too. bikermutt07 Posted September 2, 2016 Report Posted September 2, 2016 Very goog looking wallet. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Members venator Posted September 27, 2016 Members Report Posted September 27, 2016 Very nice. What did you do to make the edges turn out so well? Quote
Members FJB293 Posted September 27, 2016 Members Report Posted September 27, 2016 Well done, like others have said the edges are perfect Quote
Members SLP Posted September 27, 2016 Members Report Posted September 27, 2016 Wow! That is beautiful! Please tell. What did you do to those edges? Edge Kote? and What dye? Quote
Members AKworkshop Posted September 28, 2016 Author Members Report Posted September 28, 2016 Thx! =) Just dye for edges: Orly (Kenda Farben), because it's not vegetable tanned leather. Quote
Members pnj Posted September 30, 2016 Members Report Posted September 30, 2016 Great job with this! I personally like it when the stitches stop after each pocket. It seems lazy to me to continue to stitch when the stitching doesn't do anything supportive in that area. Quote
