Who don't like HF?  Likely most of us got something came from there.  But I GOTTA go with pickin' it up at the store.

I ordered a thing on teh 10th.  Fits in a 7x7x7 box.  Shipping was $7, and the tracking shows it's in CO -- sent from CA somewhere!@#!!

There's a HF store about hour and a half south of here, and another one about 3 hours north of here .. so why again does it ship from CA?  My mistake... next time I know to tell her to pick one up on her way through Minneapolis ....

Tracking says it should be delivered by the 23rd.... I sent packages all over the country for $7 .. in 2-3 days..

Dont even like shopping in store at HF although a few things are worth picking up, a few other things if modified properly are worth it as well.

Tandy is just as bad, took me two weeks to get a order from  a store that was an hour away, cost me a left something or other as well. That was a while ago though.

Ahhh harbor freight. It's like dollar general for men.

I hold that places in the same regard as my father. They sell a bunch of cheap crap, however, if you need some wierd tool for one or two uses, harbor freight does the trick.

One or two orders a year?  Probably not worthwhil but. It doesn't take very long for Amazon prime to pay for itself if you order stuff online.

It also includes prime video which is pretty nice stuff too.

HF wont take it out of inventory from a store, their warehouse import location is in Ventura CA just up the coast from L. A. it probably hits the dock in Long Beach the over a rail head to Ventura,  If you look at Grizzly they most likely have the exact same tool just a few bucks more and will ship out of the same town that SLC or what ever that leather store is called.  You ran machines so your partly familiar with the set up, in China there is probably 3 production lines all running the same stuff kind of like leather is a way number 1 grade #2, #3 the better the line the better the tool just held to tighter specs. So depending on the store HF line 3 Grizzly line 2, jet line 1.
