Here is a pic of my very first project. Have a lot to  learn but very pleased with the start. I also want to get into some tooling so I can personalize my projects. Going to give it to a former student of mine who is now studying international politics at UCLA. Thanks for looking.

Great job.

I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with.

Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day.

Looks really good for your first project. Did you use a template or did you come up with one? I have been doing similar projects and have not quite found a pattern I really like.

Thanks,  I used a video from make supply for the basic idea, but made my own template to fit the size of notebook I wanted to use.

That's fantastic for a first try!  Keep at it, you'll be making crazy goodbstuff in no time at this rate.
